TRUNK’N TREAT will be Wednesday, October 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the east parking lot, with free hotdog and hamburger dinners. Servants needed to decorate trunks and hand out candy, work the games, face painting, serve the food, greet guests, and purchase food supplies. Please contact the church office to let Olivia Pruett know how you are willing to serve for this wonderful church and community event.

PONYTAIL CANASTA GROUP will play tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the Garden Room for experienced players or those who want to learn. Plan to attend and invite a friend or two for some friendly competition and fellowship.

COOL WEATHER IS COMING, and the Oasis Sunday School class has the perfect complement for autumn. Gumbo! Frozen quarts of delicious chicken and sausage gumbo will be avail- able for $12 from the Oasis class on Sunday, October 29 and Sunday, November 5. Proceeds of the sale will support the class’s missions efforts. Please stop by our table outside the Parlor or Fellowship Hall and stock your freezer with this Louisi- ana favorite! Thank you!
THE PUMPKINS ARE HERE! The Patch allows us to give a terrific boost to a great ministry in our community. This year, all proceeds will go to support the Desiard Street Shelter. Be sure to visit the patch, and sign up for a shift this month!

FLOOD RELIEF UPDATE: Phase 1 of our Flood Relief Plan has gone superbly thanks to your generous and diligent response. Next, Pastor Shawn and others will lead teams to the LA/TX border Oct. 20-22 and Nov. 17-20 to help homeowners. Contact him if you want to participate. More dates will come forward as they are confirmed. For now, we will focus our efforts on LA & TX and allow others to respond to the need in Florida. Let us continue to pray for all those affected around us!
